Londonewcastle are the London property developers who have specialised in creating design-conscious city developments for the past three decades.

For their latest project - a large development in Covent Garden - they partnered with Trilbey Gordon, a designer they knew would help them evoke a sense of the theatrical in this unique West End location.

Take a quick tour of the show-room project below.

The initial brief of the scheme was to draw on the decadent, theatrical history of Covent Garden, and to translate this heritage into contemporary urban living.

Mimicking the West End's opulent yet lively culture, the designer blended a selection of rich finishes and features, with a number of playful shapes and style.

The bespoke curved sofa (pictured above) offers a perfect example of this.

Of late, this pocket of London has become a world famous destination for fashion, culture, food and theatre lovers. The attraction of Covent Garden lies in its mix of old and new. The landscape continues to change, but Covent Garden has retained its character.

As well as considering the aesthetic of the space, the designer and developer paid specific attention to the property's function.

Matching the elaborate interior scheme, architectural linear lighting, touchscreen home automation and integrated sound systems all run throughout the property. In a time when London's most affluent residents are constantly searching for a more streamlined lifestyle, these features offered a great solution.

Moving outdoors, we see terraced spaces created by Chelsea award-winning landscape and garden design firm, Andy Sturgeon Design.

The outside space blends strong design silhouettes with natural materials and pays specific consideration to ensure privacy for residents.
