Supplier of the Week: Addicted to Patterns

Addicted to Patterns are a UK design brand who specialise in detailed, illustrative wallpapers. With wallpapers and feature walls set to be big in 2017, this new name to the market is definitely one to add to the portfolio of suppliers for a unique and beautifully crafted result.

We speak to co founder, Justyna Medon to find out more.

Who are Addicted to Patterns?

We are a Bristol based creative multidisciplined studio who specialise in unique collections of hand screen printed wallpapers and textiles. We combine craftmanship with digital techniques to create complex designs.

It was started by myself, Justyna Medon, a professional printmaker - surface designer and Mani Swiatek a designer and photographer.

How are your wallpapers made?

Customised papers are made to individual order, which we print on a hand painted colour background of your choice or one you have selected from a seasonal collection.

Our wall coverings are printed with passion for individuals that care about ethics and aestethic.

The patterns are hand drawn and colours are individualy mixed for our painted backgrounds resulting in hand screen printed illustrative designs. This is the beauty of craftsmanship and we simply adore it!

Each design is hand drawn to achieve their unique and delicate illustrative detailing, such as the Flying Castle Open Green Wallpaper seen here.

What projects have your designs been used in recently?

Recently we worked on large scale wall hangings for individual clients.
This included Dancer and Traveller wall hangings which were designed and printed especially for unique interior decoration. We are waiting for photos from this projects as we only finalised them in the last weeks of 2016, so we will share these soon!

One that we can show is a series of Silk Wall hangings I recently created called "Silky Cocoons", a collection of soft decorative hangings made with best quality silks, decorated with hand screen printed organic illustrative patterns:
