What are you most excited about at Decorex this year?
One prominent feature in particular that I'm really looking forward to is 'The Heritage of Chairmaking', a curated exhibition by Tim Gosling chosen by great British influencers from the archives of the V&A and the Fredrick Parker collection.
It has been quite a feat to bring together what has seemed impossible at times and now all of our visitors will be treated to 12 chairs of historic note that are usually closeted in the depth of the archives.
I'm also excited to see the build up of the show when the 400 exhibitors arrive onsite and transform what feels like an empty aircraft hanger into an intimate world of the most beautiful presentations of their products.
Is there anything new that you've introduced this year?
This year, as always, there are many new areas and features and of course many, many new exhibitors, who are the main reason our visitors attend. We continue to champion the focus on British craft which has been so well received from our visitors.
The New Craftsman introduces 'Crafthouse' this year, a celebration of the 4 areas of the home as interpreted by a wonderful collection of their craft-makers.
