What’s the reason for launching The Restaurant Design Show?
We have been running a very successful event called Takeaway Innovation Expo for the last 3 years and, as it has grown and developed (doubled in size every year), there has been significant interest in design and furnishings.
We looked into this much more closely and researched whether it was an industry wide thing that transcended all kinds of restaurants and bars. There was a lot of interest from a very broad spectrum of people across the catering and hospitality sector and the design and architecture world welcomed the idea equally - other events didn't cover it properly - so we got to work and set out to build the best trade show in the world covering this sector.
How is it different?
Our events, whatever the sector, break the mould. We go all out to make the show floor buzz, and we pack it with good content; in essence we give the visitor hundreds of reasons to attend and with so much going on it will be a very exciting event to be a part of.
Our seminar schedule is packed with more than 50 speakers, including some of the world's leading experts, and we'll have inspiring features to show off the latest designs, plus a tonne of cutting edge exhibitors to show off the very latest trends, products and designs that can transform a restaurant.

Owners of high end restaurants, bars and hotels looking for fresh ideas or looking to refurbish and redesign their space imminently, architects, interior designers, design agencies.
Who should exhibit and why?
It's easy enough to find different types of restaurant owners through events, magazines etc., but to find the ones that are looking to spend hundreds of thousands on a makeover is not so easy - this show does the hard work for you and finds them and puts them in a room. If you sell products and services to these people then you need to exhibit at the show.
