Something you're proud of?
Installing and donating a chandelier, co-working space and a kitchen at St James Church in Clerkenwell for residents and members of the public to utilise and enjoy.
What was the last project your furniture was installed in?
This year at Milan's Salone del Mobile, Tom Dixon and Caesarstone presented the perfect partnership to create THE RESTAURANT - a series of extraordinary, sculptural kitchens and dining halls.
Set within the surroundings of the historic Rotonda della Besana, THE RESTAURANT served a unique menu from four kitchens around the themes of Earth, Water, Air and Fire.
Each dining hall had a clear aesthetic, materiality and cooking method.
What can we expect to see from you at CDW?
This year for Clerkenwell Design Week we decided to collaborate with Andrew Baughen, the enlightened Vicar of St James' – a classic 17th century church on Clerkenwell Green, where he sees the potential of making his unique building available to the daytime residents of Clerkenwell – the creative workforce, and a place for the residential community to use as a resource.
The partnership will involve us installing a large central chandelier in the main space, a co-working environment and a kitchen all to be donated as permanent fixtures.
The extraordinary volumes of this heritage site will allow us to demonstrate our new lighting and furniture products recently launched in Milan against a series of historic backdrops providing us with a variety of design challenges unlike any other.
